Disclosure and Disclaimer

I took a 40-hour online course on "foundational knowledge in ABA" to enable me to effectively teach my autistic son in our home and to manage his behavior.  From 2008 until we were displaced by the great flood in Thailand in 2011, my son was receiving intervention from professionals in hospitals and tutorial centers.  His progress has always been regularly monitored by a developmental pediatrician, whose profile says that she specializes in pediatrics behavior counseling and that she is a "fellow in learning and its disabilities."

I am NOT an expert on ABA.

I am NOT supervised by an ABA expert, but I plan to enroll my son in an internet-based program where, if my understanding is correct, intervention plans will be designed and supervised by an expert.  The training course I participated in is intended for those who will implement this program.
